About

Welcome to our website

The African Art, Culture, Environment & Migration Foundation (AACEMFUND) is a non-profit organization dedicated to the study, promotion, and preservation of Africa’s rich cultural and artistic heritage. Our foundation focuses on exploring the intersection of African art, cultural practices, environmental sustainability, and migration trends, aiming to provide a comprehensive understanding of the continent's dynamic narratives. Through our research initiatives, we aim to document, promote, and protect the cultural assets of African communities, offering a platform for the exchange of knowledge and ideas on a global scale. AACEMFUND brings together artists, scholars, researchers and cultural practitioners to collaborate on innovative projects that highlight the significant role of Africa’s artistic expressions and the influence of environmental factors on cultural practices. We strive to facilitate a deeper appreciation of African art, history and cultural heritage through exhibitions, educational programs, and partnerships with local and international institutions.
With a strong focus on migration, we also aim to explore the stories of African migration and its impacts on art, culture, and society. By enhancing access to resources and supporting academic endeavors, AACEMFUND fosters cross-cultural dialogue and aims to contribute to the growth of global conversations around African identity, environmental conservation, and the future of African arts and culture. Our team is comprised of experts from diverse backgrounds, including art history, anthropology, environmental studies, visual arts, art education, tourism and migration studies. We are committed to collaboration, inclusivity and social responsibility, and we strive to make a positive impact on the lives of African communities.
